According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, the CDC reports that 1 in 13 people have asthma. Out of 25 million people diagnosed, 7.7% are adults, and 8.4% are children. The most common triggers of asthmatic episodes are caused by:


Dust mites

Cockroaches

Pollen

Molds

Pet dander

Rodents

Smoke from cigarettes

Air pollution such as smog, ozone, and others

Wood fires

Charcoal grills

Strong fumes

Vapors and odors (such as paint, gasoline, perfumes and scented soaps)
